Websites and internal tools
A presence you own, and the tools behind it.
We register your domain in your name, set up your business email, build the site, and build the internal tools that run behind it. Every account is opened in your business name, on your payment method. If our engagement ends, you keep all of it and it keeps working.
Free assessment first · Every account in your name · Cancel the plan, keep the site
Why this matters
Most small businesses do not own their own website.
They believe they do. Then they try to change providers and find out that the domain is registered to someone else, the hosting lives inside a reseller account they cannot log into, and the business email was set up under a login they have never seen.
This is common enough to be ordinary. Consultants who clean it up write about it openly, and it reaches court often enough to leave a record: in April 2025 a group of dental practices sued a former contractor who they said held nine of their domains in an account he controlled, with the only transfer codes. Whether or not he was owed money, and he said he was, the practices could not move their own web addresses.
Nobody sets out to be in that position. It happens because the accounts get opened by whoever is doing the work, on the day the work is being done, and nobody writes down whose name goes on them.
What we build
Two kinds of work.
Websites and presence
The public side of your business. Domain registration, business email, hosting, the site itself, and the intake behind it: contact and enquiry forms that arrive somewhere useful, appointment booking, document requests, and the pages a new client actually reads before they call you.
These sites are built to be plain and fast and to work on a phone. We are not a design studio and we will not out-pretty one. What we are good at is the part behind the page: where the enquiry goes, what happens to it, and who gets told.
Internal tools and applications
The unglamorous software that runs the work. Job and matter tracking, quoting and estimating, intake and triage, client portals, dashboards that answer the question you keep asking, and the integrations that stop the same information being typed into three systems.
These are small, purpose-built and shaped around how your business already runs, rather than software your business has to bend around. Most of what we build here is dull and genuinely useful, which is the point.
The two connect more often than not. The form on your website is only worth having if something sensible happens after somebody fills it in.
Ownership
Every account is opened in your name.
Not transferred at handoff. Opened that way on day one, on your payment method, so there is never a moment where the question of ownership depends on goodwill.
- Your domain, registered to your business at a registrar you can log into.
- Your hosting, billed to you directly by the provider at their published rates. We do not resell hosting and we do not mark it up.
- Your business email, in your own workspace, with your own administrator.
- Your DNS, your SSL, your analytics, your Search Console and your Google Business Profile.
- The site itself, the code, the content and the design.
- Where there is an application, the source code and the repository.
- Where you take payments, your own merchant account with your own processor.
We hold delegated access to do our work, which you can revoke from your own account in under a minute without asking us. We do not hold your passwords.
If our engagement ends, nothing switches off. We remove our access, hand over documentation, and spend an hour at no charge helping you or whoever comes next pick it up.
The question worth asking any provider, us included: if I stop, what do I keep?
Where it starts
The assessment is free.
We sit down with you, work out what your business actually needs online and what is getting in the way, and give it back as a written report with recommendations. It is yours whether or not you hire us, and it is specific enough to hand to somebody else.
Often the report says less than you expect. A business with a serviceable site and a broken intake process does not need a new website. You will hear that from us before you have spent anything.
We ask for a short phone conversation first, so we are not driving to your office to tell you something we could have told you in ten minutes.
Pricing
What it costs.
The money is in the build, because that is where the work is. Keeping it running afterwards costs very little, and we would rather charge accordingly than invent a reason to bill you every month.
Website and presence
From $3,500 to build
then $49 a month, optional
Domain, business email and hosting set up in your name. The site built, the intake wired up, analytics and Search Console connected, and your Google Business Profile sorted. Documentation and a walkthrough so your own people can run it.
Quoted as a fixed price after the assessment, not an hourly estimate.
Internal tools and applications
From $7,500
support quoted with the build
Scoped and fixed-price after the assessment. Because a tool your business depends on is not the same as a website that sits still, ongoing support is agreed alongside the build rather than dropped into a standard plan.
Job tracking, quoting, intake, portals, dashboards, integrations.
The monthly plan
$49 a month
or nothing at all
Software and security updates, uptime monitoring, backups verified rather than merely scheduled, SSL and domain renewals watched so they do not lapse, and two content changes a month. Further changes at a published hourly rate, quoted before we start.
Month to month. Thirty days notice. Cancel it and the site keeps running.
The plan is optional, and we mean it. If you would rather manage the site yourself, take the self-managed route: we hand over the documentation and the logins and you carry on without us. Plenty of businesses have somebody perfectly capable of applying an update. The plan is for the ones who would rather not think about it, not a condition of being a client.
What you pay other people. Hosting, your domain renewal and your business email are billed to you directly by those providers at their published rates. For a small business site that is usually somewhere between fifteen and forty dollars a month all in, and we will show you the exact figures during the assessment. We take no margin on any of it.
Scope
What we take on, and what we do not.
We are not a design studio. If what you need is brand identity, illustration or a photographic art direction, hire someone who does that for a living and we will happily build what they design.
On payments and online stores: we work through platforms where the merchant account and the payment processing belong to you, so card details never touch anything we run. That covers most of what a small business needs to sell online. We do not build custom checkout, and if your requirements go past what a platform will do, that is a specialist job and we will tell you so rather than learn on your money.
We will also tell you when not to rebuild. If your existing site is serviceable and the real problem is what happens after somebody fills in the form, you will hear that from us, and fixing it is usually cheaper than starting again.
Fit
Who this is for.
Businesses and practices that need their online presence to do something rather than simply exist. Law firms taking enquiries, dental and specialty practices handling new patients, trades and service companies booking work, property managers sorting requests, and anyone running the business out of a spreadsheet that stopped coping some time ago.
We are probably not the right fit if you want the cheapest available site, if you are buying on portfolio aesthetics, or if you need a large marketing programme rather than a working system. Good options exist for all three and we will point you toward them.
Who builds it
Anqa Systems
Powered by over 30 years of business technology for both Business Operations and Go To Market/Sales.
The person you talk to first is the person who builds it and the person who answers when something is wrong. There is nobody in between relaying messages.
This site is our own work, and it is a fair sample: plain, fast, honest about pricing, and built so the numbers on it can be checked. If you want to see how we think before you talk to us, you are already looking at it.
Questions
What people ask.
- Who owns the domain?
- You do, from the day it is registered. It goes in your business name at a registrar you log into with your own credentials, on your own payment method. We get delegated access to configure it. You can remove that access yourself at any time.
- Why is the monthly plan so cheap compared with other providers?
- Because we are not hosting your site and reselling it back to you. Hosting is billed to you directly by the provider, so the monthly covers our work and nothing else, and on a site that mostly sits still our work is genuinely small. Where the ongoing work is real, on an application your business depends on, we price it accordingly.
- What happens if I cancel the plan?
- The site keeps running. The accounts are yours and the hosting bill already goes to you, so nothing stops. You take over the updates or hand them to somebody else. Thirty days notice, no cancellation fee, and nothing to unwind.
- Can you take over a site somebody else built?
- Usually. The first thing we will do is find out what you actually control, which is not always what you were told. Sometimes recovering a domain is straightforward. Sometimes it is a negotiation with your previous provider, and occasionally the honest answer is that starting fresh costs less than the fight.
- Do you do online stores?
- On established platforms, with the merchant account and payment processing in your name, which covers most of what a small business needs. We do not build custom checkout.
- Can you host it for me instead?
- We would rather not, and we would rather explain why than quietly do it. When the provider holds your hosting account you are one disagreement away from a problem, and it is the single most common way small businesses lose control of their own site. Setting it up in your name takes twenty minutes and removes the risk permanently.
- Who do I call when something is wrong?
- Sean Bjers, directly, at (860) 261-0023. There is no queue and no portal. It is also why we take on a limited number of builds at a time.

A short call is usually enough to work out whether this is a website, a tool, a process problem, or nothing at all. The assessment after that costs nothing and the report is yours either way.
