Terms

Last updated 30 August 2026.

Anqa Systems is a trading name of Sean Bjers, of Bristol, Connecticut, operating as a sole proprietorship rather than an incorporated company. These terms cover the service described on this website. If you have signed a services agreement with us, that agreement governs, and where the two differ it controls.

What we do

We build an automated phone agent for your business, connect it to your calendar and your phone line, and maintain it for as long as you are a client. The agent answers calls you do not pick up, takes messages, books appointments, answers questions using answers you approved, and transfers emergencies to the number you give us.

Whose account it is

Yours. The platform accounts the service runs on are opened in your name, billed to your card, and owned by you. We are given access so we can build and maintain them. Vendor charges on those accounts are yours and are separate from what you pay us.

What the build fee covers

The build fee is one time and is charged before the build starts. It covers a discovery call, writing the answers your agent is allowed to give, building and testing the call flow, connecting your calendar, setting up call forwarding, and testing the failure paths before the agent takes a real call. Once the build has started, that fee is earned and is not refundable.

The monthly service fee

The monthly service fee is optional. You can take the build and run it yourself, and you keep the agent, the number, the configuration and every recording either way. If you do take it, the fee is charged in advance. It is a service fee for managing your account: holding and maintaining the agent configuration, making the changes described for your tier, monitoring the service, and support. It does not include platform usage. Usage of the voice platform and any telephony charges are billed to you directly by that provider, on your own payment method, at their published rates. We do not resell platform usage and we do not add a margin to it. Our fee can change with thirty days written notice, and a change never applies to a month you have already paid for. The platform provider sets its own rates and may change them independently of us.

Month to month, and how it ends

There is no term commitment. Either of us can end it with thirty days written notice, by email. You pay for the notice period. Fees already paid are not refunded, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.

What happens to your numbers and your agent

You keep both. The platform accounts are yours, so the agent, its configuration, your call history and any phone number provisioned for you stay in your possession when the relationship ends. We remove our access. We do not hold a number hostage and we do not take the agent with us. If you want help handing it to someone else, we will spend an hour on that at no charge.

What you are responsible for

What we do not promise

The service runs on telephone networks and vendor platforms we do not own. Outages, carrier problems and misrouted calls happen. We do not offer an uptime guarantee, and we do not promise that every call gets answered or that the agent is always right. What we do promise is that we watch it, we fix it, and you can reach us. Nothing on this website is a guarantee of revenue, of booked jobs, or of any particular result for your business.

Limit of liability

If something goes wrong and we are at fault, what we owe you is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before it happened. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business. Some of this may not be enforceable where you live, and where that is so, it does not apply.

Recording

Every agent we build discloses recording at the start of the call, as Connecticut General Statutes § 52-570d requires. That disclosure is not optional and we will not remove it on request. See the recording notice.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Connecticut. If something cannot be worked out between us, it goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Connecticut. Before it gets that far, call us. Most things are fixable on the phone.
