Recording notice

Last updated 30 August 2026.

Calls handled by an Anqa agent are recorded and transcribed. Every caller is told so at the start of the call, before they get into why they are calling.

Why the notice comes first

Connecticut requires that everyone on a call be told about recording before it happens. The controlling statute is Connecticut General Statutes ยง 52-570d. That disclosure is written into the first sentence of every agent we build, and it is not a setting a client can switch off.

What gets recorded

The agent does not ask for payment card numbers, bank details, or government identification numbers, and it is built to refuse them if a caller offers.

Who can hear it

The business you called. The recording sits in that business's own platform account, which they own. We can see it too, because we built that account and we maintain it for them. Nobody else is given access.

How long it is kept

Recordings and transcripts are kept for a limited period agreed with the business and then deleted automatically. A business can choose a shorter period for its own account.

Asking for a recording to be deleted

If you called a business using an Anqa agent and you want your recording and transcript deleted, write to sean@anqasystems.com or call (860) 261-0023. Give the number you called from and roughly when you called, so the right call can be found. We will delete it and confirm to you that it is gone.

Our demonstration line, (860) 845-6882, is answered by an agent built for Federal Hill HVAC, a business that does not exist. Calls to it are recorded on the same terms as any other, and the same deletion request works.

This page explains how recording works. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the statute.
